Pupils learn about how and why earthquakes happen

Tues 12th Nov | Johnston Library Cavan | 2pm

Earth Science workshops

Join Geopark staff to celebrate Science week, with our Earth Sciences Workshops. Pupils will have a chance to learn about how and why earthquakes happen, along with trying to predict it. Pupils will learn about how volcanos formed and why they erupt, and will get a chance to make our model volcano erupt. Pupils will also learn about meteorites, what they are and the impact they have.  This workshop consists of three hands on fun experiments for all those mini scientists.
